LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Facilitation Training and Certification

xCoaching Upgrade

Certified LEGO® Serious Play® xCoaching. One Day Online Upgrade Training.

Upgrade to LSP xCoaching

This one-day LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® upgrade training is specifically designed for those who have already completed a level of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® training and would like to understand how to apply LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® in the context of coaching.

Using LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® as a coach requires a different skillset to that of a facilitator. In facilitation, we focus on preparation but in coaching, we need to learn to 'dance-in-the-moment'.

This LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® xCoaching Upgrade course gives you the foundation knowledge and confidence to
apply the method to your coaching practice.

Certified Facilitator of LEGO Serious Play x Coaching

Learn by doing

At SERIOUSWORK we are proud of the practice-based learning approach that we bring to the training room.
This course is no exception. Participants will have the opportunity to apply their learning in real-time coaching scenarios. This means that participants leave the training with both the technical skills and the confidence to introduce LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® as a coaching tool.

ICF Competencies Aligned

And open to all

Many people coach, without being formally accredited by ICF, AC or EMCC. This class is open to all no matter if you are accredited or not.

And during the class we take time to understand the inherent alignment between LEGO Serious Play and the International Coach Federation (ICF) coaching competencies.

By exploring the intersection of these two methods coaches increase their conscious awareness, application, and amplification of coaching competencies through LEGO Serious Play.
Live practice during training

#PracticeBasedLearning

SERIOUSWORK are known as the pioneers of #PracticeBasedLearning in LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®.

We have taken this idea one step further in our xCoaching class. On the morning of day 2 of the training we will ask you to run your first live coaching session with a real client. You will return to the class after lunch to share and learn from the practice sessions of the whole group.

We will provide the materials needed for you to run this session, and we'll encourage you to charge a fee, if appropriate. How many other trainings have you taken where you can generate revenue whilst in class?
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® xCoaching FAQ's
  • Do I need to be a coach to do the training?
Yes, to complete either of our LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® x Coaching training programmes, you need to be a coach. Attendees must understand how to coach and actively use coaching models in their professional practice.

We appreciate that there are many pathways to being a coach. Usually, attendees have completed a coaching qualification or are members of a coaching association. Just ask if you're unsure.
  • Do I need to have LEGO?
No, we send you LEGO® bricks ahead of your training so there is no need to have any in advance. During our training, we will also cover the practicalities of coaching with LEGO® and how to send LEGO® to clients.
  • Is this suitable for team coaches?
This 2-day Coaching training is primarily focussed on the use of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® in a 1-2-1 environment. We cover team coaching but team coaching often requires skill to facilitate ‘Build Level 2’, shared model building.

If your work is primarily team coaching, we'd recommend you take our Build Level 1 and 2 facilitation class, either
online or face-to-face and upgrade with our one day xCoaching upgrade programme.
  • Does this course earn me ICF CCEUs?
No, at present this course does not earn International Coaching Federation Continuous Coaching Education Units. This may change in the future.
  • Why train with SERIOUSWORK?
SERIOUSWORK is the gold standard trainer of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® training. We have trained over 2000 graduates globally and written four bestselling books. No other LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® training organisation has done so much to advance the method. That's why we are thought of as Professionals. Thought Leaders and Game Changers.
  • Who is my trainer?
Victoria Bradley is the lead training for LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® xCoaching. Vics has a background as a trainer and professional coach and has worked extensively as a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitator. Vics is embedded in the coaching ecosystem and is a board member of the UK International Coaching Federation.
