Booking Questions

  • Ethos and fit
    Lets meet!

Before we confirm your place, we insist on a phone call or video conference.

This is a chance for us to meet each other and explore if this course will meet your objectives and enable you to do what it is you hope to do. You can question us on our approach and we seek to understand your motivation, ethos and fit with the group.

Very rarely we encounter people who our course is not right for, in which case we give a full refund and signpost them to other training options, which we know well. We help people find the best training training provider to match their learning style and budget (and country).

Lets meet on Skype or zoom and begin the journey!
  • A note on total cost and VAT (Value Added Tax)
    > Summary: Total cost with different VAT rules
    UK based training:
    £1600 plus VAT at 20%.
    £1920 in total.

EU based training for VAT registered companies
    £1920 With reverse VAT Charge.
    £1920 in total.

EU based but not VAT registered

    £1920 plus VAT at 20%.
    £2304 in total.

    The rest of the world
    £1920 No VAT.
    £1920 in total.
    > Detailed explainer. VAT Rules Explained
Many countries operate a 'sales tax' called VAT in the UK

    UK based training

    Training
delivered in the UK is £1600 and incurs VAT at 20% so costs £1920 in total.

Non UK based training costs more
    Training
delivered outside the UK has additional expenses; flights, accommodation and room rental means training outside the UK costs more. We charge £1920 for training outside the UK, plus VAT where it applies…

The 'Reverse VAT Scheme' in the EU
For training delivered in the EU, VAT registered companies can apply for the 'Reverse VAT Scheme'; if you provide your EU VAT number when you pay for the training you will get a VAT invoice from us with the VAT reverse charge scheme applied,
    so training costs £1920.

EU based but not VAT registered

If you do not provide an EU VAT number, the charge will be £1920 plus VAT, which is
    £2304 in total.

    The rest of the world
UK VAT does not apply for training delivered in other countries like UAE, USA, therefore the
    cost is £1920 in total.

VAT is confusing - if you have questions
please contact us and we'll do our best to answer your question or workout what rule applies to you.
  • Refund policy
Our courses are carefully designed to give small groups of participants several opportunities to facilitate (and be facilitated by the other participants) though build levels 1 and 2. The numbers are limited; people pulling out will affect the experience for the other learners. For this reason we ask for a deposit.

    To
book your place on a course please pay your deposit for the course you wish to attend. The balance must be paid in full two weeks before the course begins.

We will give a full refund to deposits paid in the event we don't feel the course will suit your needs, motivation or ethos.

Should you be unable to attend the training after booking your deposit can be refunded in full (or used to secure a place on a later training) if you cancel 3 months or more before the training date. If you cancel with less than 2 months your deposit is not refundable.
  • What is the total cost in my currency?
Use this currency converter to find out.
  • What's included in the cost?
The course fee covers two days of tuition, a course manual and a copy of our book SeriousWork.

We run our courses in high quality training venues with lovely food! Tea, coffee and snacks and lunch on both days is included.

It does not include travel to the city or accommodation.
  • In the unlikely event…
In the unlikely event that a course does not have the minimum number of participants, we will cancel and reschedule training.

Our training is carefully designed to ensure that you receive brilliant facilitation training and so whilst changes are regrettable, we will always prioritise your learning experience.

We will refund in full any money that you have paid to us in the event of us cancelling or rescheduling the course.

Do note we cannot reimburse the cost of any pre-booked travel or accommodation. Please contact us to get an update on course numbers before you book travel and we suggest you consider travel insurance to any bookings which are not refundable.
