SERIOUSWORK began in 2015 when Sean Blair and Marko Rillo shared a coffee at a gathering of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitators in LEGO's birthplace, Billund Denmark.
We discussed how few books there were about LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and decided to write a how-book, to help readers understand the process, impact and outcomes professionally facilitated meetings and workshops.
We launched the book in London in November 2016 and it has since won 5 star reviews on Amazon.
To accompany the ideas in the book, Sean designed what we think is the gold standard of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® facilitation training courses.
Our approach to LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® training is practice based and facilitation-skill centred and helps people learn about the method and also develop their facilitation competency at the same time.
In 2018 Jens Dröge completed the translation of SERIOUSWORK into German and this was published in 2019 by German business book publisher Vahlen. This is available to buy as an ePub on our website, at Amazon.De and all good German language bookshops!
We have a translation of our book in Spanish coming in 2019 and we are working on other languages too!
We are working on our plans for the future but we are interested in professionalising LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® and growing our community of professional facilitators who can use the method to create meaningful outcomes. If you'd like to keep in touch sign up to our three-times-a-year mailers.
